This place was terrible. We showed up and nobody was there, so my husband called the motel number and a male answered, told my husband to go into the office and take a key for a room, and to unpack and come to the office in 10 minutes, that he would be there to register us. We arrived at the office to register and told the man we had a dog traveling with us. He got very upset and downgraded us to a terrible room compared to the renovated one he had given us in the first place. We still stayed the night. The second day we were gone all day with our dog, came back in the evening to find the door between us and another apartment open with the handel broken and no way to close the door between us. It was not like that the day before. Lucky we had all our valuables out of the room with us for the day. The owner came and explained his friend was renting the room beside us and works in town. And that he got off work 2 hours prior to our arrival. He tried to blame it on cleaning servive, but our room had no fresh linens or towels in it. Than he tried to blame it on us and said we were the only guests who could have opened the door. We said to him sometime during the day someone came into our room and probably rummaged through all our belongings and that we didn't feel safe in the motel anymore now that the door handel was broken. He refused responsibility for the incident, and refused our full nights refund we asked for because there was no way we would stay there now. There was a language barrier between us, and he was extremely rude to women ( my wife). This place is aweful, if I could rate 0 stars I would.
If I could give this place a zero I would. Absolutely gross. And sketchy... we came into lumby for a wedding and chose not to camp. Although we would have been better off. We all joked about this being the bates motel. And with it being the only one in town they dont have any competition.. It's a shame cause they had horrible customer service, the room smelled so strong of cat piss, the adjoining room door had no lock so the person from the other side could creep if they wanted. We ended up moving the fridge in front of the door. Although i will say there was no bed bugs as we did a thorough sweep and the sheets were clean so I guess that's something to be grateful for. But the floor was gross and the beds were very old.

Friendly staff, rooms are not bad. As good as can be expected for a budget motel. Nice location.
Cheap. Fairly clean. Was a bit noisy with other guests and loud vehicles in the parking lot. Would stay again.
